Bec Osborne

Kia ora, my name is Bec and I’m a second-year counselling student.
I’m Pākehā, with family roots in Scotland, England and Ireland. I grew up in Ōtautahi-Christchurch but moved to Wellington as a young adult and never left! I have two young children and appreciate the many challenges and joys that this can bring.
I know it's not always easy to reach out in the tough times and I recognise the strength it takes to do this. The heart of my counselling lies in my belief that everyone deserves to be truly seen and heard and I feel strongly about creating a safe space where you are welcomed as you are. As your counsellor, I feel privileged to be able to hear and support you and walk beside you as you navigate your own journey.
I’m a student affiliate of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC) and follow their Code of Ethics in my work, as well as having regular supervision.
